A Message from our Founder
Welcome. My name is Amanda Kevin-Tidis.
If you’re anything like me, you’re here exploring how you can create more purposeful, authentic impact every day, whether it’s for you, your team or your organisation. I understand, as I’ve been on that journey myself, and it led me here.
A Little About Me
Personally, I’ve been exploring my own development for as long as I can remember. I’m a seeker by nature. Curious, with a deep love of learning and getting below the surface of things.
Professionally, I’ve had the privilege of working for myself and others, within organisations large and small, in corporate and for purpose settings, and in a variety of sectors. I’ve led small teams and large ones and had both inspiring and tricky managers of my own. Most significantly, for the last 20 years while working in Learning & Organisational Development, I’ve been on a continuing search for the secret to impactful learning, leadership and growth.
The answer is of course complex, but by introducing coaching, I’ve seen remarkable results. Individuals thrive through increased confidence and capability, teams become more aligned and purposeful, and organisations see higher levels of engagement, retention, wellbeing and performance. With the strategic use of coaching, I believe we can create spaces where people thrive. On the flip side, although many embrace coaching enthusiastically, they lack the expert support to embed it within life, culture and systems for sustainable results.
Our Origin Story
So, this is how Ideas Collective was born. My passion is to inspire the increased use of coaching to enhance learning, leadership and growth. We provide that expertise, whether you are engaging in coaching for your own professional growth, or looking to build a coaching culture within your organisation.
We provide bespoke, human-centred coaching solutions, and partner with you to understand and meet your unique needs. And we do this with a balanced focus on people, purpose and performance for sustainable impact. I believe coaching can truly inspire us to reflect deeply, act boldly and grow consciously.

Coaching is a collaborative process and partnership. Your coach is a confidential sounding-board, a thinking partner.
As partners you will work together on specific areas of development. Everyone comes to coaching with an overall goal or theme in mind, and to each session with a specific goal for that hour. The coach’s role is to help you understand your assumptions, discover opportunities, and overcome obstacles in order to move towards your goals.
A coach will not give you direct advice (like a consultant) - you are the expert on your own life, and we are focused on the more important task of building your capacity for sustainable growth.
Instead, coaches listen deeply, ask evocative questions, challenge you, strategise with you, share knowledge and resources, inspire and support you, and keep you accountable.

The 1:1 coaching a leader receives during Individual and Executive Coaching are the same. The difference lies in who is involved in the coaching partnership.
Individual Coaching is sourced and paid for by the leader being coached, with no-one else involved in this partnership. Contrastingly, Executive Coaching is funded by the leader’s organisation and is likely sourced by them too. This means that there is a three-way partnership in the coaching relationship between the coach, the leader being coached and their organisation. As a result, the supervisor of the leader will take an active role in this partnership by attending an alignment meeting to collaboratively set coaching goals, as well as a review meeting at the end of the program to reflect on the impact of the program.

All 1:1 coaching (individual & Executive) will be held virtually via Zoom. Team and Group coaching may be virtual or in person, depending on the unique needs of the group or organisation.

A Discovery Session is a complimentary, no-obligation 30-minute meeting with our Founder, Amanda Kevin-Tidis. It provides an opportunity for us to mutually explore whether coaching with Ideas Collective meets your needs, before booking one of our programs. During the session you will have the opportunity to share your goals and challenges, while we outline our services and approach, all while focusing in on what may work best for you.

Come prepared - Spend time prior to each session deciding on your focus for our time together. To make the most of each session, select a goal that aligns with your overall coaching program theme, but that also acknowledges what may have arisen between sessions.
Challenge your mindset - The most transformational growth occurs in coaching when we challenge and shift entrenched patterns and mindsets. This means that during our sessions you need to be open to courageously examining your assumptions and be prepared for these to be respectfully challenged.
Take action - Every session starts with defining a goal and ends with a commitment to action in service of that goal. In between coaching sessions, you must commit to taking action. Keep in mind that each individual goal achieved throughout your coaching journey builds steadily towards a larger vision. Your coach will keep you accountable, prompt you and ask for progress updates, but they can’t take action for you.
Reflect & Learn - When we challenge mindsets and take strategic action, we are doing deep, transformational work. Reflection helps to embed our learning, creating sustainable growth. Keep a coaching journal, and in between sessions take time to record what has been significant for you. Record insights, stories, future plans – anything that will help in service of your personal and professional growth.
